Pewdiepie’s new Premium YouTube Red show is meh…

written by Shane "Geek" Lundberg February 10, 2016

If you haven’t heard Pewdiepie is releasing his own show on the new Premium version of YouTube…YouTube Red called Scare Pewdiepie. The show is based on his beginnings in the YouTubing world of playing scary video games and making tons of comments, jokes, screaming, and pretty much acting like a Bro.

“This show takes what I already do, getting scared of horror games, but taking it to the next level,” Kjellberg, a.k.a. YouTube superstar Pewdiepie, explains.

Once a week Pewdiepie will release a new 20 minute episode loosely showcasing him living one of the scary games from his past.  They have made the seven episode based off the 2013 game Outlast free for people to check out and hopefully get you hooked on the series.

I will say after watching the whole thing…it wasn’t horrible. Yes you could tell it was HEAVILY scripted but it feels like you were kind of supposed to feel that way. I think that fans of Pewdiepie will understand that and enjoy the series. Everyone else if you do not care for Pewdiepie you are probably not going to care for the series either.

If you do fall in love with the show keep in mind you do have to be part of YouTube’s new Premium service YouTube Red that is $9.99/month. My favorite part of the service has nothing to do with Pewdiepie. With YouTube Red NO MORE COMMERCIALS! I love it. Check out the free show and let us know in the comments what you think.
