Writer/Director Josh Boone, known for The Fault in Our Stars and X-Men: The New Mutants, recently posted a picture on social media of his new completed script for the remake of Interview With a Vampire, which originally was released in 1994 with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Well, the rumor mill is running and this time it involves Jared Leto. Take a look for yourself

Well, well, well… From super villain to incredibly chaotic and renowned vampire? I think this could be a good thing. Jared Leto has proven himself to be quite a powerhouse both in acting, taking on pivotal roles in movies like Requiem For A Dream (2000), Dallas Buyers Club (2013), Mr. Nobody (2009), Suicide Squad (which will be released later this year), not to mention his outstanding musical talent in the band Thirty Seconds to Mars. He is a well rounded and diverse actor and if anyone could play the infamous Lestat, I do believe Leto would be the one to do it.
We all know how into his roles he gets. Viola Davis, co-star on Suicide Squad, has made mention of Leto being so committed to his role as the joker that he has had his henchmen drop off a dead pig on the set of Suicide Squad. I admire him for really being able to buckle down and take his jobs seriously. I’ll admit to being apprehensive about the reboot of Interview With A Vampire, but I hope this rumor is actually true, because with Jared Leto a part of it, I can get behind it!
