I Saw Wonder Woman 8 Days Early: Here’s 4 Things You Need To Know

written by Quinzel Lee May 26, 2017

I got a pretty epic surprise when I found out I would be able to see Wonder Woman eight days before it’s set to hit in theaters. Since most of you won’t see it until it hits theaters on June 2nd, here are 4 *spoiler free* fast facts you need to know about the movie.

1. Diana is pretty hilarious

I did not expect to laugh so much at all! There were a few slow scenes, but watching Diana getting accustomed to life in London was…well, just be careful when you drink your soda, you may end up spitting it out mid-laugh.

2. 3D may not be worth it for this one

Granted, I saw this in 2D and personally didn’t feel like I was missing anything, if you are on a budget, rest assured that the fight scenes in 2D are just as cool.

3. There are no post credit scenes

None. Yes I waited past the opening credits, past all of the “no animals were harmed” prompt in the credits, and nothing. The lights came up and the screen was blank. This was really the only disappointing part of the movie for me.

4. Despite the lack of hype, this is a great movie

There was a lot of criticism that there was not as much promotion for the movie. Aside from some tasty ice cream and some gross weight loss bars, we weren’t seeing much of the warrior princess. So I was worried that because of this, the movie wouldn’t be very good. My initial thoughts could not have been more wrong. In fact, I feel the need to sing high praises about this movie to everyone I know. Go see it if you loved Wonder Woman for years. Go see it if you are a new Wonder Woman fan. Honestly, still go see it even if you aren’t that big of a comic book fan. Just GO! I promise you won’t regret it.

Wonder Woman comes out in theaters nationwide on June 2nd. Continue to celebrate the premiere by finding out if you have any local Wonder Woman Day events near you, which occur on June 3rd.
