Old man Logan is looking to go out with a bang.

Logan will be Hugh Jackman’s ninth time playing the iconic Wolverine, and it looks to be his best. 20th Century Fox released a second, and final theatrical trailer for Logan and it’s even better than the first. Take a look:

Logan looks PHENOMENAL! I love that Xavier/Patrick Stewart is attempting to re-humanize Wolverine after years in isolation by drawing the comparisons between a young X-23 and a young Wolverine. I have no doubt this will be the character’s most human story to date. If there’s another Marvel property besides Deadpool that NEEDS to have an R rating, it’s Wolverine. I don’t think they’ve been able to do him justice in these PG-13 movies that they’ve had him in.

For those wanting to see a little more of what the film will really offer, check out the red band trailer below! Be warned, its of course NSFW.

Synopsis:

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Logan is set to hit theaters on March 3rd, 2017. It stars Hugh Jackman as the title character/Wolverine. It also stars Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier and is directed by James Mangold.

What do you guys think of the new trailer? Do you really think this will be Hugh Jackman’s last ride as Wolverine? Do you think the film will be better with an R rating? When they announced another Wolverine film, I was among the many people who rolled their eyes, but I’m singing a different tune now. This might be the most excited I’ve been for a new X-Men┬áproperty in a long, long time. We’d love to hear your thoughts on the new trailer and the film in general, so join in on the conversation in the comments below!
