It’s here, geeks!! The new Spider Man Homecoming trailer has dropped and it is AMAZING!!! Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! we got our first full look at the wall crawler in action. Earlier this week, we got a teaser trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man film. We now have the full trailer for you guys in all of its web slinging glory.

What do you guys think?? Now I won’t bore everyone with a play-by-play of the entire trailer because I’m sure you all have watched it twenty times before you continued reading. However, I will tell you that this trailer looks SPECTACULAR! There is a very Napoleon Dynamite feel to the soundtrack which I think works great for what Marvel is going for. With Peter Parker back in high school, the soundtrack really sets the atmosphere. There is also the lighter tone that we are used to seeing in other Marvel movies, which again works with this character.

From the trailer, this appears to be a story of both Peter Parker and Spider-Man trying to find a place in the world. Peter Parker has his eyes set on the girl of his dreams, knowing that she is out of his league. On the other hand, as Spider-Man, he desperately wants to have a place with the Avengers. Tony Stark even lectures Peter about forgetting “the flying monster guy”. Peter sees this as a chance to prove himself to his mentor by taking on the Vulture, who warns Spider-Man to stay out of his way.

Tom Holland’s portrayal of both Peter Parker and Spider-Man is spot on in the trailer. You can really tell that he is enjoying the role and is perfect for a younger version of the character. Jacob Batalon plays Ned Leeds, who in the movie appears to be best friends with Peter Parker and eventually discovers his friend’s secret. Zendaya’s character Michelle appears ever so briefly, calling Peter and Ned losers. Michael Keaton’s Vulture is shown briefly in the trailer both in and out of costume. He has a short dialogue with Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Keaton delivers his lines in a perfectly menacing way. And of course we have an appearance of Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark, who mentors young Peter, and even lends a helping hand.

We also have the international trailer which focuses more on the action of the movie. The international trailer shows off a few more character including Bokeem Woodbine’s Shocker and Marisa Tomei’s Aunt May. We also get a better look at Michael Keaton in the Vulture costume.

Sound off, geeks! What are your thoughts on the new Spider-Man trailers?
