Star Wars Cast and Crew Send Well Wishes to Carrie Fisher After Heart Attack

written by Jordan Cobb December 23, 2016

As reported by now, Carrie Fisher suffered a heart attack today while in flight from London to Los Angeles where she suffered complete cardiac arrest.

The 60-year-old actress and screenwriter is said to be in stable condition according to her brother Todd and has been taken out of the emergency wing. Star Wars fans and people all around took to social media to show an outpouring display of love and support for the woman many grew up knowing as Princess Leia. All around their immediate well wishes and thoughts were sent to her, but perhaps none more meaningful that those involved with Star Wars.

Cast members Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, Gwendoline Christie, and Warick Davis took to Twitter to show off their love and support for their co-star and friend.

Rogue One writer Gary Whitta and co-director of the upcoming Han Solo movie Chris Miller sent out their love and support too.

Seeing all of those shows just how much Fisher has meant to a lot of people over her extraordinary career, not just those that were involved with the stories of a galaxy far, far away.

William Shatner, Kevin Smith, Billy Eichner, Bette Midler, Margaret Cho, and Rob Liefeld also sent out their immediate wishes for Fisher.
