Stranger Things Season 2 Trailer Finally Here to Terrorize and Tease Us!

written by Maggie Little February 7, 2017

Whether you’re a sports fan or not, most anybody can find something they love on screen during the Superbowl. For geeks everywhere this was no exception, and we were given several trailers to keep us excited and full of anticipation. My favorite absolutely has to be the Stranger Things Season Two Trailer:

Stranger Things is a science fiction horror featured on Netflix, and has quickly gathered a large and devoted fan base. It follows a group of children, including the mysterious Eleven, through a series of strange, horrifying, and compelling events. The first season definitely leaves you with cliffhangers- Eleven is gone, and Will is seemingly more effected by his time in the Upside Down than anyone else knows. There’s been a lot to wonder about, and the wait has been long and excruciating.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been on the edge of my seat waiting for hints and news on the upcoming season. And while this trailer only lightly teases on certain areas, it does give us some information on aspects of Season Two.

We’ll decidedly see and hear more about Eleven, as the Eggo scene at the beginning of the trailer points out. Whether or not anyone will travel to the Upside Down¬†again remains to be seen, but it would appear that question is moot anyways, as the Upside Down seems to be coming to them. The visuals definitely inspire terror and suspense, with images of a huge, shadowy creature that is the stuff of nightmares. We’ll being seeing familiar faces, and some new ones too from the look of things in the ad. It seems season two may out strange the first season after all.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until Halloween for the second season to air, but that just leaves plenty of time to go back to Netflix and watch season one to keep us adequately terrified and anxious for even Stranger Things.

What did you think of the trailer? What are your predictions for Season Two? Let us know in the comments below!
