Apple App Store Closing In On 10 Billion Downloads

I am sure by the time we can get this written the number has gotten even closer. Apple is closing in on the 10th Billion App downloaded from the iTunes Store. They are offering up a $10,000 iTunes gift card to the person that is the lucky download.
At the end of Sep 2009 the App Store was at 2 billion downloads, January 3 billion and with the holidays and new lineups of iPods we can see how quick this number has jumped up. Is there another market that will ever be able to take this amount of traffic? How many apps have you downloaded between phone and iPods? Sound off in the comments below.
