Black Ops II drops a massive Care Package for collectors to spend massive cash on! [VIDEO]
Last Updated on Tuesday, 28 August 2012 02:23 Written by LoganDX Tuesday, 28 August 2012 03:00
The unveiling of the Call of Duty: Black Ops II MEGASUPERGIGANTISIZED Care Package Collector’s Edition might force die-hard fans to pick up a couple extra jobs before November. Clocking in at a whopping $179.99 (!), the Care Package Edition is a fanboy’s wet dream filled with enough goodies to keep gamers drooling until the inevitable sequel hits shelves.
The centerpiece of the collection is the full functional MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone. Fully functionahl but not life-sized folks. It comes with a remote control so geeks can zip past enemy cats, spy on sunbathing neighbors and cause general nuisance. Much better than the RC-XD from the Black Ops Prestige version, right?
Besides the Drone, the Care Package comes along with a double dose of Avatar add-ons (Xbox 360) or Dynamic Themes (PS3), the Nuketown 2025 and Nuketown Zombies maps, the soundtrack with the Trent Reznor powered theme, a multiplayer weapon camo skin, two player card backgrounds, Limited Edition Challenge Coins and a slick looking double-sided steelbook case. All that will be packed inside an actual care package case! Holy crazy collector’s editions!

The Legend of Korra Continues.
Last Updated on Saturday, 21 April 2012 11:08 Written by maddyEX Saturday, 21 April 2012 11:07
Last week, Avatar: Legend of Korra premiered. This show is a sequel to The Last Airbender (the show, not that godawful movie!) this show with only two episodes out has already proved a worthy sequel to the quality first series. It follows Korra, the newest avatar and her adventures in the sprawling Republic City. Saturday will be the technical premiere of the series as the first two Korra episodes were put on the internet early by a group called KorraNation.
You can catch the first two episodes at 8 am Saturday morning with the newest episode coming in at 11 on Nickelodeon or you can just wait until the episodes are uploaded on the internet like I’ll be doing! This third episode promises some korralations.
As a fan of TLA, I really do enjoy this sequel. They say sequels are usually terrible, but this show has subverted and drop kicked that saying down the stairs. Before you all blow this off as childish as it is a cartoon and all give it a chance you will not be disappointed. Newcomers and old fans alike can enjoy this show, cause I sure know I do. You can watch TLA on Netflix so if you’d like before you Korra it up, you can always catch the start of it all.
Now see you later geeks! As your korraspondent and her bad puns sign off.

Halo: CE Anniversary Gets Some Pre Order Bonuses. [VIDEO]

Well, here we are – four months away from the HD re-release of the classic Xbox shooter, Halo. Everyone by now knows the legend of John -117 a.k.a Master Chief and how it began in Halo Combat Evolved. Besides that, pretty much everyone knows Halo was THE system seller back then for Microsoft’s fledgling Xbox console. Add to that the fact that Halo propelled Xbox Live into millions of gamer’s living rooms and redefined multiplayer gaming for a new generation of caffeine junkies. Oh yeah and the game was insanely fun.
For a couple years now the internet has been clamoring for a HD update for the Xbox 360 and now that it’s on the way, the next big question was – What do we get for pre-ordering? Microsoft and 343 Industries have clued us in on what those will be. First up is Master Chief’s MJOLNIR armor for your LIVE avatar. There’s been plenty of Halo armor for avatars but not the one worn by the Chief, hopefully it’ll be available for purchase for those that don’t pre-order. Also included will be the Grunt’s Funeral Skull, a festive way to send the Covenant’s court jester to the after life. When players cap a Grunt, their methane tank becomes a popped plasma grenade. Boom goes the dynamite. Take out a few at once and watch the flesh fly or even better, take out one Grunt in a cluster and watch him become your enemy’s enemy.

Come and knock on my door! We’ve been waiting for you…..And who the hell wouldn’t want to knock on your door if you had a door that looked like a Star Wars inspired Millenium Falcon door? Or a Resident Evil Umbrella Corp. door? An Avatar themed door? I can go on and on, but this is the coolest thing ever! What better way to make an impression on someone than them showing up and going to knock on your door and they are faced with what appears to be an underwater coral reef? I know I wouldn’t EVER forget about it. Read more: Here a knock. There a knock. Everywhere a knock-knock
