Secret Wars is coming and the battlefield map has been set…now who will survive the event that will END the Marvel Universe as we know it?
The Mega event of 2015 which will pit every main storyline from Marvel’s history against one another in some sort of multiverse war to see what stories will end up becoming the All New Marvel! A New Marvel where lots of fans are speculating that the whole line is planning a complete reboot of every single Marvel comic book. That’s the way I’m taking it all in….I do warn you this is just my theory so far. We can only wait to see what they have in store for us.
I will be picking one major comic book superhero, team or theme and post my favorite cover art or pin up art of said character to share. I hope you all enjoy this new spotlight feature on Don’t Hate The Geek!

After the leak of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer, we couldn’t help but wonder what kind of legal action Marvel would take. Marvel handled the leak with Tony Stark class, acknowledging it with a tweet.
The trailer was set to debut during the following week’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., however, it still made its way onto the internet. Oh internet, there you go again causing trouble! Marvel soon released the official version which was in better quality, but that didn’t mean it didn’t hurt Marvel in any way.
On Tuesday, Marvel requested a subpoena against Google in order for them to obtain information on the individual who leaked the trailer and since then, the subpoena was admitted.
A user by the name of “John Gazelle” is speculated to have uploaded the trailer to Google Drive and leaked it. Marvel has requested for all of the information associated with the user including IP addresses of where the upload was leaked along with any IP addresses linked to the user’s Google+ and YouTube accounts.
Google will have to be present in court on November 18th with the information Marvel requested because of the subpoena.
What do you think geeks? Do you think Marvel should be taking legal action or are they overreacting? HULK SMASH! Do you think the leak brought more press for the movie or do you think it will have a hindrance on its success? Let us know in the comments below!
Marvel has unveiled another hint in their master plan for next years massive comic book event The Secret Wars! The video seems to map out a major world battle that somehow involves most of Marvel comics most recent epic crossover events. This all seems to be culminating to a final END that I have a theory will bring the era of The NEW Marvel! I will write a blog later on this theory but for now just enjoy the video and keep the theories flying on your head!
