DuckTales Remastered coming this summer!
Last Updated on Friday, 22 March 2013 05:06 Written by LoganDX Friday, 22 March 2013 05:06
Capcom is bringing back a classic NES game in the form of a remastered downloadable treat. DuckTales starred the miserly Scrooge McDuck in an awesome platforming game where he traverses different themed worlds in pursuit of riches. Gamers had a blast navigating Scrooge as he added to his overwhelming treasure supply and worked to become the world’s richest duck.
Knowing the nostalgia behind the game, Capcom is wisely giving the game a massive face lift to bring its 8-bit graphics into the new age. Hand-drawn visuals, new luscious sprites and the original voice talent are just some of the updates the game is getting. A couple of additions will be the inclusion an all-new tutorial level for new and returning treasure seekers and Scrooge’s Museum where player can view stat tracking and leaderboards.
Capcom is planning on the game releasing this summer as a downloadable title for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U. Get ready geeks, the Duck is coming! Hit the break and peep the press release plus some screens to get you ready.
