If you’ve happened to turn on pretty much any form of communication then you know The Avengers is hitting theaters oh so soon. What you might not have heard is that AMC Theaters will be hosting The Ultimate Marvel Marathon in select cities! Start things off with Iron Man, blast to The Incredible Hulk, leap over to Iron Man 2, fly over to Thor, hammer down for Captain America: The First Avenger and finally assemble for the midnight screening of The Avengers! Six awesome movies, one crazy day! That day being May 3rd in case you forgot.
The marathon will only be shown in select theaters across the country. Tickets are $40 and will include a pair of superhero RealD 3D glasses to watch the last half of the marathon in 3D. Tickets are limited so I suggest you hop on it now if you want to experience one of coolest movie experiences this decade. Screw the Titanic, bring on the Avengers! Hit up the AMC site to see if you have a theater close to you. Sound off if you plan on going.

Marvel recently released the trailer to the Avengers movie online. If you saw Captain America: The First Avenger and made it through the credits, then you were privileged to see the trailer. However, if you did not, then you can now watch it here! Be warned that there are some spoilers for the Captain America movie in the video.
Also, the cast was previewed at Comic Con and we have the video as well. We are getting some great rumors about the script as to what will bring all these super heroes together. It seems that some of the rumors circling the Internet revolve around the Hulk being on the rampage and needing the Avengers to bring it in. Also, there are rumors circulating about the Skrulls making an appearance and Loki playing a part in the movie. Whatever happens, this movie will rock!

Geek Movie Review: “Captain America:The First Avenger”
Last Updated on Monday, 25 July 2011 08:58 Written by biggybox Monday, 25 July 2011 07:00
This will be the fourth 2 hr. long teaser I’ve seen for next years summer blockbuster “The Avengers”. Hopefully with after almost a decade of hyping and watching Samuel Jackson recruiting as Nick Fury, it better be the best comic book movie ever. After not wanting to be disappointed again by Paramount and Marvel, I was hesitant to go see this film, but Captain America did not disappoint. Opening day saw $25 million in revenue and an impressive $4 million at the midnight showings. Weekend total earnings of $65.8 million were estimated by the studio , which blows away the previous two Marvel movies “Thor” and “X-Men:First Class“.
One thing is for sure, the only way to see this movie is in 3-D. The visual effects of this movie were stunning. Avatar was the last movie I saw that had this great of of use of 3D. Everything from the background scenery to even the fight scenes were excellent. A very good portion of the movie I felt like I was in the action throwing my own shield made of Vibranium-Adimantium. Some of the scenes when there were a few people standing around in a circle whispering , I actually felt like I was part of the huddle. The special Fx and the 3-D were impeccable, and definitely worth seeing if you haven’t been to a 3-D movie yet. Read on for more.
