Consumer Reports: AT&T worst satisfying carrier – Again!
Last Updated on Wednesday, 7 December 2011 04:36 Written by LoganDX Wednesday, 7 December 2011 03:00
Consumer Reports has finished up its annual Carrier Satisfaction Survey and has put AT&T at the bottom of the list for the second consecutive year. Actually the readers of CR did but let’s not split hairs here. Readers were asked to grade their cellular provider on a set of categories that encompass value, service and customer service. Texting, data, and voice are the main components to keeping making a customer happy and AT&T failed in all counts. Their customer service, website, and staff knowledge also took home the lowest honors.
Verizon reigns as champ this year with Sprint and T-Mobile taking second and third. So even if the Death Star had acquired T-Mobile, they’d still be dead last. Think about that for a sec, will ya? The pre-paid crowd and those with regional carriers were noted as being fairly happy all around with their service but as Consumer Reports’ Paul Reynolds said:
However, these carriers aren’t for everyone. Some are only regional, and prepaid carriers tend to offer few or no smart phones. The major carriers are still leading options for many consumers, and we found they ranged widely in how well they satisfied their customers.
Do these results surprise you geeks? As a two-year AT&T customer, I haven’t noticed as many of the problems as others except for some very weird data issues. Say what you think geeks, we love to hear it! Hit the break and clog the comments.

iPhone to Hit Verizon November 9th? Or is the Droid Pro? UPDATED
Last Updated on Saturday, 27 November 2010 09:33 Written by The Geek Wednesday, 3 November 2010 10:32
We have stumbled upon something kind of golden. As you can see in the picture from internal Verizon screenshot it does say “Iconic Device.” I’m not really sure if there is any other kind of device this could be referring to. So Verizon has been beefing up customer service centers, iPad has already came to Verizon an(and everyone else) and this training going out to employees is showing how to handle high demand from customers. It says pre-order goes up on November 9th, 2010. Now one thing to keep in mind this is the same launch date as the Droid Pro so it could be referring to this. But I don’t really consider that device Iconic. Whats your thoughts?

UPDATE: Getting clarification that the device that is launching is on fact the Droid Pro. See pic below.

Thats what rumors are for folks. So still a very exciting device launching on Verizon Wireless. Android in a Blackberry form. Who’s excited?
