I admit it, I haven’t played Diablo III. My dirty secret is out. If I ever think about playing it, all I need to do is watch the video of the first confirmed kill of Inferno Diablo on the hardore setting. Ye gods, I couldn’t do that! Hardcore, where you can die for real – no redos, no checkpoints, combined with the brain splatting, nail splitting, hair losing difficulty of Inferno? No thanks!
The duo of Kripp & Krippi invested the impressive time to not only play through every difficulty level but also stay alive during the insanity of Inferno to punch a hole in the black heart of the evil titular character. Once more, No thanks! Hardcore Diablo isn’t on my bucket list.

Blizzard gives fans hope with Diablo III release date.

The tension has been thick, so thick you couldn’t cut it with a Lancer. Heart palpitations, cold sweats, nervous ticks – we’re not talking a fat man climbing stairs but the wait for Diablo III! Rabid fans have gobbled up every tiny bit of info, anxiously awaiting firm confirmation of a release date, begging Blizzard to end their pain. Relief has finally come in the form of an official release date – May 15th. Yep geeks you can at long last finalize your Battle.Net plans.
Eager beaver geeks can get in the presale fun now. You can grab the standard edition in digital or DVD form or you can swoop in on a special Collector’s Edition. Lighting up your life in an alabaster white case, it brings in the game, behind the scenes DVD\blu-ray, soundtrack CD, a 208 page artbook, a 4GB USB soulstone with Diablo II\Diablo II: Lord of Destruction plus skull base and exclusive goodies for Diablo III, World of Warcraft and Starcraft II. It will run $100 in stores but hardcore fans will most certainly line up for it.
If you happen to play WOW and want to plunk down for the World of Warcraft Annual Pass you can get the digital version of Diablo III for free! Not only that but you’ll get access to the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria beta. Pretty sweet deal if you’re down for it. You have until May 1st to hop on it, enough time to save up them ducketts!

Diablo III confirmed for consoles

Diablo III is truly going to be one of the biggest PC games of 2012 (if it comes out this year that is), but now you can take on Armageddon on your console. The news came from the community manager at Blizzard Entertainment a.k.a Bashiok who responded to a tweet questioning whether or not Diablo III was coming to consoles. Bashiok not only confirmed Diablo for consoles but also said that Josh Mosqueira is one of the lead designers on the console project. Mosqueira tweeted earlier this month that they were looking for game designers for the console project. However we still have no specific release date for the game, nor what platforms the game will be playable on. For more Diablo III news keep it locked here.
