Angry Birds Friends crashes onto Apple and Android devices, Thursday May 2. Fans of Facebook games might already be familiar with the social version of Rovio’s Angry Birds, as it appeared as a Facebook app last year.
Play against your friends in a competitive version of Angry Birds with a familiar style of gameplay fans have come to love. Rovio added a series of power ups designed to give Angry Birds Friends a bit of variation from the original games. However, all of your favorite birds return from previous titles, with the exception of the Mighty Eagle.
In game social currency is called Bird Coins and you earn them from defeating your friends in four different competitive modes. It is also believed that more Bird Coins can be bought through micro-transactions in app.
Get Angry Birds Friends this week at the Apple App Store and all Android App retailers and join your friends in bird flinging fun.

It’s the PlayStation 4 folks!

Sony finally and officially announced the next iteration of its mega popular PlayStation line – the PlayStation 4. After effectively losing this generation’s console war, Sony needed to do some serious work to reclaim its lost crown. After what we saw today, I think Sony is starting to show its previous brilliance.
Something the system is bringing is the inclusion of a second chip dedicated to uploads and downloads. This means we gamers can upload and download games while playing or when the system is off – finally! Another awesome bit is the ability to play a game as it’s downloading, like buffering a fully playable game.
An unusual feature is the ability to live stream your games and have friends take over or just watch. That’s right, your buddies can sit back and mock your poor Black Ops 3 skills in real-time.

Geeky Gadget Review: Galaxy Note 2
Last Updated on Tuesday, 12 February 2013 05:14 Written by LoganDX Tuesday, 12 February 2013 05:14
I’m a lover of my Gen 1 Note. The bigger screen makes movie watching and game playing awesome and much easier on the eyes. The S-Pen comes in handy when my fat fingers can’t hit the right spot and the screen cap features make Facebook sharing more fun. I have no problems with the bigger size, I find a pocket to slip it in just fine – even with a case.
When Samsung gave me a chance to take the Note 2 out for a test drive, I was obviously more than enthused. Because they sent a CDMA Sprint model over, sadly I wasn’t able to make it my daily driver (Sprint has poor service in my area). I decided to use the Note 2 as a more “fun” device, playing games, watching Netflix, etc. I wanted to see if the device could be more than just a top of the line cell phone, I wanted to have fun with it.
The first thing I did was download Grand Theft Auto III for the Note 2. The extra .2″ in the 5.5″ wasn’t really noticeable, it was pretty much like playing it on my Note. Not to say playing GTA III on a 5″ screen isn’t fun, I don’t see the extra in the screen dimensions. The HD Super AMOLED screen is still bright and beautiful and worth the investment. I played the usual rounds of Star Wars Angry Birds ans Plants vs Zombies – same fun factor.
