Battlefield 3 launch not as graceful as gamers would have liked.

The Battlefield 3 launch definitely needed a better organizing and strategizing session beforehand. The Xbox 360 version had serious server issues forcing many a gamer to *GASP* play by themselves and not online. The Origin side of things fared much worse as people found themselves unable to add friends or even get the game to stop downloading at 100%. Yeah that’s right, the system wanting to keep downloading games beyond that magical all-the-way threshold.
PS3 players might have gotten the worst of it though. Not that they couldn’t play or it set fire to the system, just that the exclusive freebie they were promised by Sony\EA\DICE back at E3 silently disappeared. If gamers chose to get their BF on with the PS3, they would get a free copy of Battlefield 1943 as a way to stick it to the Call of Duty Xbox 360 DLC exclusivity. However, when said purchasers of the game got home, they found no game, not even a code to download it. So what happened? DICE made their own DLC exclusivity deal with Sony but forgot to tell the customers that was in lieu of the free game.
