Capsized+ for iPad is free for St. Patty’s Day weekend.

If you are planning on celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a few adult beverages and will need to recover on Monday, indiePubEntertainment would like to give you one more reason not to leave the comfort of your couch. This weekend their Sci-Fi survival shooter Capsized+ for iPad, which usually retails for $2.99, is free for a limited time.

Capsized+ started out as a PC game but this iPad port has been updated with a new control system that really feels right at home on the iPad. In no time you will be a master at fighting aliens in this action packed game that is beautifully delivered in a unique art style.

Capsized+ is only available to iPad users but will soon arrive on Android devices as well as PSN and XBLA. Remember this is an iPad only game and is not available on either the iPhone or the iPod Touch. Get Capsized+ at Apple’s App Store for free starting Friday March 15. Pocket Tanks Is On Fire, Kindle Fire That Is

Pocket Tanks, the classic artillery duel game that has seen its way to many platforms, is now available for the Kindle Fire. Available in a free lite version or the deluxe that will cost $4.99, Pocket Tanks for the Kindle Fire was developed by BitWise Productions and published by Focus Home Interactive.

Pocket Tanks places one to two players on the battlefield in a tank with various weapons to help modify terrain, increase defenses and hide from incoming fire. It’s perfect for gaming on the go, and has long been a fan requested addition to the Kindle Fire.

Pocket Tanks Lite offers players 35 weapons and all of the modes fans of the game are familiar with including Target Practice as well as the single and two player modes. The Deluxe version includes all of the Lite version and more. Deluxe Pocket Tanks includes 65 in-game weapons including the 35 from Lite and the opportunity to upgrade with expansion packs. There’s 130 weapons to be had with free expansions and over 295 weapons for those seeking the ultimate Pocket Tanks experience through paid expansions. Sphero: More Than Just A Toy

I recently purchased a Sphero robot for my iPhone/iPad, now I want to preface this by saying this is not a sponsored post I paid all $130 with my own cold hard cash. I was instantly intrigued by the Sphero when I first heard of it as I am with just about anything iOS related. I knew that with all the technology packed into the little ball and the ability for open programming Sphero would go a long way. Hit the break for my review.

Meowzers Action Cats feline fun for iOS

If you love cats and own any iDevice running iOS 4.3 or later, Meowzers Action Cats is the purr-fect game for you. Meowzers is a free to play game that comes complete with one cat, survival mode and the option to unlock two more cats and an adventure mode later. The adventure mode consists of 45 levels and ongoing development for the game assures even more feline fun is to come.

Meowzers let’s you control up to 3 cats, Jazz, Quasar and Spark in single player adventure mode as well as offering a cat-co-op mode so you can enjoy Meowzers with friends. There are 3 different adventure worlds all offering different visuals and items. If you fancy yourself more of a single cat player and aren’t necessarily feeling adventurous, try beating your high score in survival mode.
