**UPDATE** Disney May be “All In” for Pirates 5 & 6

Coming in May 2011, we will see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides hitting theaters. The film, just like the other three, will be one of the Summer’s biggest blockbuster for 2011. So, does Disney want to waive “A Do” to the franchise? Apparently, this is very far from the truth. HitFix, an entertainment website, is reporting that Disney has been asking the films’ major characters to “keep a weather eye” in the near future to possible make Pirates 5 and 6. It was also stated that Disney is asking those main characters that ”set aside a major block of time in the very near future so they can shoot” This could possibly be a suggestion that the company would like to film the sequels back to back, just like how they did with POTC 2 & 3. The Dark Knight Rises Looking to Add Two Leading Ladies?

So with the title down, what’s next for Christopher Nolan to decide on for the next Batman film. According to numerous reports, is to cast two leading ladies. Purpose of the cast: Female villain or principal character? The answer seems to be both.
Rumors around the internet is to cast one leading lady to become Bruce Wayne‘s new love interest. The other, could be a female villain. The options for villain could be of Catwoman or Talia Al Ghul, daughter of Batman Begins villain, Ra’s Al Ghul.
So who is being considered for the cast. Such names as Blake Lively, Keira Knightley, Natalie Portman, Naomi Watts and Anne Hathaway are among the rumored contenders. One other name of considerable interest is Rachel Weisz, of The Mummy franchise game. Weisz is highly regarded to play Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman. All things considered, great choices to substitute for the Rachel Dames character, may she RIP.
There are other rumors circulating around this epic movie. Will the Riddler play the main villain? Will Dick Grayson make a cameo appearance? Will Lex Luthor be tied in for a possible DC powerhouse “Justice League” movie? There are many things going on with this one, keep touch with DHTG as the rumors become facts.
I’m so looking forward to this film, but I also have my doubts. With this being the supposed last Batman film for Christopher Nolan, will he deliver another gem or will it tank. Any thoughts about the idea, let us know.
