Zombies Are Coming! Stay Safe In These Zombie Proof Abodes

The time has come upon us to start preparing for the zombie apocalypse. While playing video games like Left 4 Dead and watching AMC’s The Walking Dead will greatly help your chances of survival it might be time to get a bit more serious since zombies have recently been spotted in Florida. Here at Don’t Hate The Geek we’d like to help in getting you prepared for the inevitable zombie invasion by making you aware of some recent houses on the market that are zombie proof.

Miami, FL. Architect Charles Sieger designed this mansion that was featured in one of Birdman’s videos. 11 new markets get AT&T LTE love.

The AT&T LTE train is rolling on as the company flipped the ‘ON’ switch to 11 new markets. Phoenix, Los Angeles, New York Metro, San Diego, Austin and more received the upgrade from Big Blue. The slow roll out is picking up steam for most of the major markets and they’ve been seeing the enhancements already coming and going. The dreaded New York congestion has even been catching some of the waves, letting Gothamites pull down some streaming goodness just a little bit faster.

Big Blue is committed to finalizing the expansion by the end of 2013 but hopefully we see more LTE before then. After all, Verizon has pushed out more markets than any other carrier. AT&T better not use the failed T-Mobile merger to slow down the train. Hit the break for the full AT&T presser.

Call of Duty XP Tickets go on Sale Next Tuesday at 10AM

Alright you CoD fans. If you are planning on attending this event you might want to be ready to go and spending the night in front of your computer and be ready to purchase. Tickets for the event are scheduled to go on sale at 10AM Tues July 19th. Be read to drop a cool $150 on these bad boys but good news 100% of ticket sales are going to the Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit group that supports military veterans. According to Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg $150 wouldn’t have covered all of the expenses for the event anyways, “so this is a party about raising money for a great cause, and it’s partly about just giving something back to our fans.”

If you grab one of these tickets you can expect to visit the event both days, September 2nd and 3rd. Only two tickets may be purchased by a single person. Buyers need to know exactly who will be using the tickets as a full name and certain unspecified “info” will be required for each person buying the tickets. You must be 18 and have ID to attend the 12 acre compound located outside of Los Angeles. Plan on throwing down some pwnage with tournaments, a reveal of Modern Warfare 3′s multiplayer, a real life version of The Pit from Modern Warfare 2 that you geeks can run through, paintball games in a re-creation of Scrapyard, and oh so much more. We are talking about real life Modern Warfare here! That makes the price of the tickets almost totally worth it! Read on for more!!1

A Week Later: L.A. Noire

Last week Rockstar Games released their newest masterpiece, L.A. Noire upon the world. L.A.
