GameStop combines Saints Row with a kicking contest!

Unless you reside under a boulder or have no sense of humor, you know all about Saints Row and its upcoming threequel Saints Row: The Third. In an effort to promote the absurdly fun game, GameStop is whipping up a contest just as great as the series dubbed “The Ultimate Player“. As is the usual with GameStop contests, gamers merely need to pre order the game anytime between now and November 14th. After that you just have to pick up your copy of the game by November 22nd. If you really don’t want to pre order you can submit your info via snail mail but why?
But what exactly could I win, you ask? Glad you asked because GameStop is tossing some sweet prizes at the winner. How about a 92 inch Mitsubishi 3D television? Yes, 92 inches of gaming goodness! There’s also a surround sound system, a spiffy home theater chair, 2 “Next Generation console” (their words, presumably the PS3 and Xbox 360), collector’s editions of the game for both systems and a set of four collectible posters. Quite a haul just for pre-ordering and picking up a smooth pimping game like Saints Row: The Third!

“Go Commando” Sweepstakes and Win A Mitsubishi Lancer

All you Gear heads are in for a treat if you are pre-ordering Gears of War 3 at GameStop. They are officially having a Sweepstakes that’s giving away a car, Gears style. GameStop is exclusively giving away 3,600 prizes through October 3 to any and all “commando worthy” participants. The Grand prize is a 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer that’s pictured above. Sweet ride, but I had my heart set out to get an Assault Derrick or at least an Armadillo.
GameStop will also be giving away many other prizes as well, such as Flat Screen TV’s, Gears concept art (autographed of course), XBOX Live memberships, and many more. They will also be having instant winnings and 41 daily grand prize drawings. The car looks cool enough but i’m not sure it’s Gears of War enough. I personally didn’t see any imports in the previous two games, but maybe there will be burned to the ground Mitsubishi Lancer somewhere in this next game. I hope to win a new TV and some other cool things or hell at least a chainsaw lancer on their daily drawings. Read on for details.
