Amazon Wireless going nuts with their Penny-Pincher mobile sale!

Amazon Wireless is hitting the crazy train with their Black Friday Penny-Pincher sale. Penny-Pincher sale you ask? Well a Penny-Pincher sale is where the mega online retailer will hand out pretty much any non-Apple smart phone for just one copper-ish Lincoln disc. A penny for a DROID RAZR or a Samsung Galaxy S II! They have a smorgasbord of the hottest devices to pick from for all three major carriers – AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. So many decisions, so little lines of service.

The sale runs from today until 11:59 PDT November 28th. Perfect for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping extravaganza. The 1¢ price is only available for new lines of service, that’s new customers or just plain old line additions. Also you geeks can get yourselves up to $100 in Amazon gift card love if you buy an eligible mobile hotspot-ready phone or a mobile hotspot device. Quite a deal if you’re in need of a serious upgrade or looking for a gift for a loved one. Hit the source link after the jump for all the deal madness!

AT&T ‘Evaluating’ Support for iPhone Personal HotSpot

What was almost bigger than iPhone coming to Verizon… Personal Hotspot on an iPhone! Verizon will have it! Well now customers are seeing this as a major difference between the two phones on the two different carriers. AT&T is taking a reserved approch to this feature as they have told Engadget “They are evaluating the feature, but no plans to announce at this time”. One thing we found out earlier today that the iOS 4.3 beta has just brought support for hotspot on the GSM iPhone.

Without iPhone pricing being released on Verizon yet we see AT&T holding ground on changing anything up it currently has until they see what Verizon is going to do with the iPhone. As a heavy data user I see this as a huge selling point and really hope that every carrier and every phone will have this feature in the future. Wouldnt this be great for Wi-Fi iPad users out there that already have AT&T service and an iPhone? What do you think?
