GPS Okayed to Find Cheaters

Do you have trouble following your loved ones to see where they are going?  Are you a little bit controlling?  Do you often wonder where your significant other is?

Well worry no longer because a New Jersey court has ruled that GPS systems are not an invasion of privacy.  The court ruled in a court case that involved a sheriff’s officer and his wife.

In 2007, sheriff’s officer Kenneth Villanova sued a private detective by the name of Richard Leonard.  The detective had been hired by the officer’s wife.  Leonard seemed to be having issues keeping tabs on the officer and suggested to Mrs. Villanova that she hide a GPS system in the glove box of Yukon Denali that the couple shared.

Iran Accused in Cyber Attack

Iran has recently been accused of another cyber-attack.  This time the targets were plentiful as Google, Mozilla, Yahoo and Skype all had threats posed against them, according to Time magazine.  Thankfully, these companies cyber-defenses were up to the challenge and thwarted any attack.  If successful, the attacks could have left the websites open to false imitating by the hackers.

The claim is backed by a New Jersey company, Comodo Group, that states that it sold digital authentication certificates guaranteeing that a website is for real using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.  The Comodo Group states that it did set up nine websites using this service only to find out that the websites were false and has pulled the websites from use.  Read more after the break.  Read more: Iran Accused in Cyber Attack
