How far will you go for your toys these day? Would you jump off a bridge? Would you walk and chew gum? How about would you sell a kidney? Well a 17 year-old in the Anhui province in China would totally and did do the last option. The unnamed boy told Shanghai Daily…
“A broker contacted me on the Internet and said he could help me sell one kidney for 20,000 yuan.”
Once in talks with the broker the two got things rolling for the operation without the parents knowing. Once they did find out they contacted police but still have not been able to locate the broker. The hospital that preformed the procedure was not even qualified to preform such a procedure says the report. The 20,000 yaun equals out to about $3,400. So how crazy is this? I know we love our toys but come on people. Its to bad as the young boy is now regretting his decision. Hopefully he will be able to find a kidney app in the App Store to help him through it. Leave your comments after the break…
