A nameless couple in Texas have earned some serious Geek cred in lieu of an actual wedding ring a geeky girl proposed to her man with one of the hardest pieces of video game peripherals to find…the Nintendo PowerGlove. The couple even sent out postcards showing off the awesome wedding toy. The Groom-to-be had to get to explaining to his folks the meaning behind the Geeky pic. This couple will always be welcome at DHTG and if anyone knows who they are let us know so we can get them on a GeekCast or something! Check the pic below to see the wedding invite.

Retro Sunday: Nintendo Power Glove (1989)
Last Updated on Sunday, 5 December 2010 11:08 Written by baldalbino Sunday, 5 December 2010 12:01
How cool was the power glove? It was an item that was set to revolutionize the industry and change video games forever! With games like Super Glove Ball and Bad Street Brawler, it was set to make the user experience more interactive and have games be more responsive to what the user was trying to accomplish. The glove itself was a huge seller for Nintendo. They moved 100,000 different units and it grossed $88 million dollars.
