Steam Wallet cards are a GO for Gamestops!
Last Updated on Monday, 14 May 2012 01:24 Written by LoganDX Monday, 14 May 2012 03:00
Steam Wallet cards are pouncing into Gamestops ’round the country, giving credit card deprived lovers of Steam a chance to buy tons of PC games. The cards work just like a PSN card, Xbox Live points card or any of the hundreds of other pre-paid cards printed up for online services. Toss a Jackson or a Grant at a surly Gamestop employee and walk out with that much money to load into your Steam account. Awesome for those like myself who refuse to add a credit\debit card to wait for the inevitable hacking.
The rumor rumbling started last week that the stores would begin selling the cards on May 15th and would be available in denominations of $20 and $50. Some gamers have sighted them in the wild and captured them for their collections. A quick call to the GSs around me confirms they are selling them now instead of waiting, a good sign for the impatient ones in our midst.
Any geeks out there going to swipe up a couple Steam Wallet cards? Does this make you more likely to buy games on Steam or could you care less? Hit the break and sound off!

Avengers overload! New Pinball FX 2\Zen Pinball Avengers tables inbound! [VIDEO]
Last Updated on Tuesday, 8 May 2012 06:22 Written by LoganDX Tuesday, 8 May 2012 07:00
There may not have been an Avengers game to coincide with the movie’s release but Zen Studios is making sure we get our Avengers fix anyways. Adding to the already announced Avengers Chronicles for Zen Pinball and Pinball FX 2 will be a full fledged movie based table! We’d seen a bit of the table in the previous trailer but now it’s official. The table used bits and bob directly from the movie to keep it as authentic as possible.
To keep this table exciting, Zen decided ordinary steel balls wouldn’t cut it – no sir. They have customized spheres of justice decorated to resemble each team member of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Specific challenges await each ball, challenges that must be met before players can activate Wizard mode. The table shows off that Zen attention to detail, with the heroes and villian running around clashing, Nick Fury glaring from the center of the table, Cap assembling the team and more eye candy than you know what to do with!
The Avengers Chronicles will hit Zen Pinball (PSN) and Zen Pinball FX 2 (XBLA) later this year. Hit the jump for screens, the trailer and more!

Last Updated on Wednesday, 14 March 2012 02:23 Written by LoganDX Wednesday, 14 March 2012 02:23
Quantum Conundrum is slowly coming along and all we have to tide us over is a handful of screen shots. It’s looking gorgeous and rightfully should seeing as how it’s coming from one the creators of Portal.
In Quantum Conundrum, players take on the role of a young kid dropped off on his uncle’s doorstep for the weekend; his uncle just so happens to be the brilliant, eccentric inventor, Professor Fitz Quadwrangle. Upon entering the Professor’s vast manor home retrofitted with crazy technology to test his latest hypotheses, players quickly realize their uncle has gone missing. Fortunately, players soon gain access to Professor Quadwrangle’s latest invention, the Inter-Dimensional Shift Device, which, at the press of a button, will shift the world around them to an entirely new dimension. In order to find him, players must use the newly found IDS Device to dynamically change the world to and from a variety of different dimensions to progress through the complicated Quadwrangle Manor. While on the journey, becoming adept at utilizing the various dimensions will help them trek from one bizarre and challenging room to the next. It might sound easy enough, but it is a tall order for a kid in a giant puzzle of a manor!
Can’t say it any better than that! Hit the jump and peep the pics. Quantum Conundrum will hit XBLA, PSN and PC sometime soon!

You just have to love video games. You can hop around as a red suited plumber, shoot aliens as a mega enhanced soldier, save humanity as the last of your kind and now apparently you can live out all your deep seated Matrix plus hot chick fantasies. Majesco is looking to help you out with their upcoming downloadable title Girl Fight this year.
Published by Majesco Entertainment, Girl Fight allows players to choose from an array of sexy fighters to battle their way out of THE FOUNDATION, a shadowy, scientific organization looking to weaponize the psionic fighting abilities of the cast of gorgeous, all-female fighters. With unlimited funding and no moral or ethical compass, THE FOUNDATION collects its test subjects from all around the world, often abducting and plugging women into their virtual construct known as The Mainframe. To make it back to reality, the women must utilize their fighting and psionic abilities in an all-out battle for survival.
Sounds like a gonzo fighter full of off the wall chicks beating the snot out of each other. Inside the Matrix Mainframe. Where do I insert my money?
