Will Skyrim Ship With Warning Label “May Cause Pregnancy”?

Chaz and Stevi are big time gamers, so hardcore they got engaged at last year’s QuakeCon. It came as no surprise they showed up at QuakeCon 2011 even though Stevi was very much pregnant. The gaming couple were amped for the presentation of the next Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim. So excited, so pumped, so filled with geeky anticipation that they sat through the WHOLE demo while Stevi started going into labor. Yes, labor as in birth of a child. Thinking it was just false labor, the pair stayed to watch as Todd Howard showed the Frost Dragon to the hungry crowd.

Once the demo was over Chaz and Stevi decided it was a good idea to head to the hospital where they gave birth to a future gaming girl, Atari Lynn. Although the co-op partners originally planned to get married this past weekend at QuakeCon, I’d say adding another geek to fold is pretty memorable too. Now slated for November 16th, the couple will walk down the aisle with their own little Dragonborn. Wonder how many people will bear gifts of Skyrim for the happy gaming clan? No need for them to buy the Collector’s Edition, that’s for sure.

Get Your Own Dragon With The Skyrim Collector’s Edition.

Okay, so it won’t be a real dragon but it is cool none the less. It was only a matter of time before Bethesda announced the all but guaranteed Collector’s Edition. At QuakeCon, producer Todd Howard did just that when he revealed the edition and its contents. Besides the game, fans who scrape up the cash will get a making of dvd, a giant 200 page art book and 12 inch Alduin dragon statue. Don’t forget the exclusive cloth map of Skyrim when you pre-order.

The big question is “What will it cost me, the rabid fan?”. You’re not going to like the answer as this bad boy will set you back $149.99 when it releases this November. Pretty pricey really for what’s included. The Arkham City CE has just as many goodies but costs $50 less, which is a welcome relief. Any geeks looking forward to the Collector’s Edition or will you just grab the standard edition and get lost in the game? Let us know below.
