RIM has been struggling to keep its hold on the market with Android and iPhone offering better devices, more apps and a decidedly cooler experience. Their Blackberry handsets could be seen in every executive’s hands but not any more. Research In Motion went back to the drawing board in an attempt to reinvigorate their sluggish sales and their concentrated efforts gave birth to the Android\iPhone clone Z10 and the familiar looking Q10.
The Z10 is a sexy beast of a phone, reminding one of the reborn Motorola RAZR line. It packs 1280 x 768 pixels in a 4.2 inch screen, 2GB of RAM, a dual-core 4470 1.5GHz processor, 16GB of on board storage, LTE, WiFi, NFC, an 8 megapixel backside camera, 2 megapixel front facing camera and is capable of up to 1080p video recording. It’s also the first full touchscreen Blackberry minus the famous keyboard.
Verizon is the only carrier announcing pricing for the Z10 – $200 on a two-year contract. AT&T is sure to announce pricing soon and probably also right at that magical $200 mark. U.K. Blackberry lovers will be able to snag one up tomorrow but U.S. folks will have to wait until March.
Blackberry also wanted to keep the keyboard jockeys happy with their Q10, hit the break for details on that bad boy…

The Droid 3 Is Here!
Last Updated on Tuesday, 16 August 2011 09:05 Written by LoganDX Thursday, 7 July 2011 08:30
Earlier today, Verizon Wireless and Motorola announced their newest smartphone, the Droid 3, is available for purchase online. Boasting features such as a dual-core 1GHZ processor, an 8 megapixel camera, Android OS 2.3, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, Flash 10 and a 4 inch qHD display this may be Motorola’s biggest beast ever. Mirror Mode will allow users to share media, including 1080p HD video captured on the phone, on televisions equipped with HDMI. The manufacturer claims the phone will be the thinnest QWERTY capable phone and even includes a front facing camera for chatting and photos.
Motorola has built the Droid 3 with personal and business customers in mind with the bells and whistles that casual users want but also including professional services as well. GOTO Meeting, Citrix Receiver, QuickOffice, and more will allow the power user to keep up with the fast paced demands of corporate life without being stuck in an office. The Droid 3 will be a 3G phone, not LTE though. You can buy the phone online now or in store around July 14th. Hit the jump to see the full press release and peep some more pics of the beauty.

Geek Gadget – The QWERTY Wallet
Last Updated on Monday, 6 June 2011 10:46 Written by LoganDX Monday, 6 June 2011 10:45
A leather wallet embossed with a full sized QWERTY keyboard? Say it ain’t so! This red stitched wallet has soft pressible leather so you can type away on that novel you’ve been working on while sitting at your agent’s office. Inside is the best part, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” is embossed inside. A great nod to The Shining, the Stephen King novel turned movie starring Jack Nicholson. The inside also has spots for six cards and a couple hiding holes for your cash. While the design is slightly different from a standard keyboard, it’s still a cool product. Any self respecting geek should consider sticking their Monopoly money and Multipass in it. You can snatch one up here from Firebox for $57.
