In what should come as no shock what so ever, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is getting a super special Collector’s Edition. Square Enix is tossing together some nifty extras for the true fans of the series. Included in the set will be concept art from the making of the game with some never before seen footage. The real fan favorite piece will be a 4 disc official soundtrack from the game! The packaging will be covered in art from Yoshitaka Amano, long time series artist.
Square Enix also let drop the pre-order specifics for the game. They’re going with the wonderful retailer exclusives for the title with the breakdown as follows: GameStop gets an alternate costume for Serah, Amazon gets an exclusive Omega boss battle and Best Buy will receive a hardcover book that details the time between XIII and XIII-2. The Collector’s Edition will run $79.99 and will be available on January 31, 2012. Any Final Fantasy geeks out there drooling?
