Warning! Spoilers Below.
Season 8 has been a great season so far. I almost forgot there was an interesting story because I was getting lost in joy with the side story episodes. The brother’s have had to deal with a fairy, a Knight of-Hell demon, a Jewish golem versus Nazi necromancers, and those were just a part of the side story episodes that avoided the main plot about tablets. The SCPD has been the bane of the series since episode one. Showing up way too soon or way too late. Taking actions that are a little more than questionable. The vice cop, McKenna Hall, tries to play another officer aimed to take down Oliver. Detective Lance seems to be avoiding the Hood and Oliver now. It may be that he understands the Hood is trying to do good and there are much worse people on the streets, but it’s hard to understand anything he is thinking when he seems to be struggling with every action he takes.
