I think it’s safe to say that at least every once in a while, people love to get scared.  Going to a “scary” movie or playing a horror video game is just a couple of ways that anyone can get their scare fix every now and then.  What would happen if going to a horror movie and playing a video game were combined to one great big scare?  I am not talking about watching Resident Evil or any of the other god awful sequels; I am talking about Great Horror movies such as Halloween or the original Scream.  It may look like these titles may be making their way to home game consoles in the very soon future.  This is not the first time that classic horror movies were made into video games.

Who can remember, and don’t feel bad if you can’t, such Nintendo titles such as Friday the 13^th, A Nightmare on Elm Street or Jaws?  All three titles came and went to the group of games that no one plays or even mentions anymore, why, quite simply, they were a disgrace to play.  Hopefully, these newer titles won’t fall into the same web of horribleness as the few already mentioned.
