I don’t know about the rest of you geeks but I watch the Superbowl for the ads and especially the trailers. Last night’s big game had three movie teasing trailers for the action junkie, the comic nerd and the sci-fi fan. We got to see the Star Trek: Into Darkness, the Iron Man 3 tease ( which you had to go inline to see the full bit) and the Fast and Furious 6 trailers.
All were pretty exciting but you gotta give it up for Robert Downey Jr.’s little joke at the beginning of the extended look online. Fast 6 is going to take the cake though for introducing a new vehicle in the stable of vehicular weapons – a frakking tank! All three trailers have me giddy for the summer movie season. Don’t delay, hit the break and peep all three trailers!

Amazon next one to take shots at Apple in latest ad. [VIDEO]

Samsung has been having their fair share of good times poking fun at Apple and the legions of iFaithful. After that Super Bowl ad raised eyebrows, Amazon has jumped on the “Samsunging” of Apple.
An iPad wielding man is looking for a spot out of the sun when he spies a bikini clad, Kindle reading brunette chilling in the sun. He grabs the seat next her and begins to quiz her about her e-reader of choice. Initially impressed by her using it in the sun and the low cost, he tries to turn it around by pointing out his tab can watch movies and surf the web. Her response is to point to her kids using Kindle Fires, surfing and watching videos just like he could do on his iPad. But what about the cost? Those three tabs total cost less than his fruity device is her quick response. The last hit to his ego came when she informed him he was in her husband’s seat. Ouch!
