Retro Sunday: Far Cry (2008)

The Far Cry movie followed the hit game but was made and released four years after the game originally hit the shelves. Director Uwe Boll originally purchased the rights to the movie even before the game was released. It was slated to be released in 2007 but due to delays was not released until 2008. The movie did not do well in the box office earning just over $200,000 the first weekend, as it was originally released in Germany. The movie went on to gross just about $695,000.
