Mars bound with the Total Recall teaser trailer! [VIDEO]

Along came yet another remake, this time of one from the grand decade of wackiness known as the eighties. Total Recall. Granted it did release in 1990 but it still was a true eighties project. Yeah, they decided it was a good time to dust off a classic action movie and the trailer is getting ready to grace us this Sunday. However the minds behind the project went ahead and skipped out a teaser trailer for the upcoming trailer. Is this some type of Recall?

Colin Farrell replaces the aging Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone is being swapped out for the sexy, oh so sexy Kate Beckinsale. I guess I don’t care about anything else, I’ll watch it just for her! Will have to equip a drool bib but it will be worth it! Go ahead and hit the jump and check out the teaser, I promise you, Kate is in there! No sign of the triple boob lady but with the flick tentatively set for an August release, there’s still hope.

At their heart, they’re side scrolling puzzle platformers but instead of jumping, the main character “splodes”.  Sploding is multipurpose, acting as a means of locomotion, as a minor combat ability and as a general wrecking ball. By allowing the player only three in air splodes, Twisted Pixel keeps gamers on their toes by making them use the splodes logically. This also ties the puzzle aspect in because the missus can’t just go jumping all willy-nilly.
