Jack is back! 24: The Movie set to begin filming this spring!

It may have ended two long years ago but for some of us, the 24 train keeps chugging on. Fans of the series were elated to hear confirmation of shooting to begin in April or May on the 24 movie! The announcement was made by none other than Jack Bauer himself, Kiefer Sutherland on Sunday. Sutherland has a new Fox series coming out in March called “Touch” which coincides nicely with his return to the CTU badass he’s arguably the most famous for.
No word on script, characters, the returning of fellow cast mates (like Chloe) or how they’re going to work the the 24 concept into a most likely two hour movie. What I want to know is where it fits chronologically in the timeline. Could we see a pre-CTU Bauer back in his military days? Or will we see how the team spins Jack’s life after the events of season 8? My mind is literally swimming with thoughts and questions. Get this movie going already!! Time for a 24 marathon – again!

Apple Computer Patent: Removing the Keys From Your Keyboard
Last Updated on Thursday, 28 July 2011 10:43 Written by Nick McD Friday, 29 July 2011 01:00
Apple recently patented their take on the glass piezoelectric keyboard concept such as the Kong Fanwen “No-Key” design announced months earlier.
Where this will go remains to be seen, but rather than a clear sheet of glass, Apple’s patent indicates an LED backlit device with LCD “screens” under a stamped or formed hard touch-sensitive surface. Keys will be positioned and marked as they are on a conventional keyboard allowing for touch typing, but a haptic feedback method like the vibration-on-click method that many cellular devices currently use will indicate key presses rather than any direct key motion.
It is a curious concept that will of course split the computing community. Long-experienced typists likely will not like the immovable keys, but the ability to press a key and completely change the presented language on the keyboard would be amazing; or imagine setting a device such as this with profiles for your on-line games: there would be no more fumbling for the right key combination to launch a task, as it could be mapped to a single key press. Netflix Update for iPhone/iPod Touch, Allows Video Out Option
Last Updated on Monday, 4 October 2010 11:19 Written by PieceOfSith Tuesday, 5 October 2010 09:00

Anyone using Netflix for the iPhone 4 or the new iPod Touch, well it just got better. With an update through Apple‘s App Store, an update will allow video to be played from your device to a TV.
This is a free upgrade and allows iPhone/iPod Touch users to watch content through Netflix from their device to a tv. All you would need is an Apple Component AV cable or a dock for the iPhone/iPod Touch with an S-Video out option. No need for a game console or DVD player now folks, awesome.
This is a great addition for Netflix people. Will be a must have for people on the go, students or anyone else with a taste for new “tech” innovations. I am a proud Netflix user and will take full advantage of this upgrade. Nice job.

Why are the power cords for phones never convenient? Well for you iPhone die-hards I have a gadget for you.
Scosche flipSYNC has a portable charger that opens up and contains a portable USB wire a
nd iPodconnector, much handier than carrying around a cable shoved in your handbag. No big deal so far, right. Wrong, and thinking out of turn. The mental tickle about this is that this one is designed to fit on a keyring and is about the same size as a car alarm fob.
For for the chic geek that knows the battery is going to die and doesn’t want to carry around a long cord that manages to get tangled on everything you should check it out. Recently crowned by MacWorld UK as 2010’s ‘Best iPod and iPhone accessory’.
You can purchase yours at http://www.eoutlet.co.uk/.
