New Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain E3 trailer!
Last Updated on Tuesday, 11 June 2013 04:19 Written by LoganDX Tuesday, 11 June 2013 04:19
I’m spent already from the awesome E3 trailers and news but man I can’t get enough! Here’s the new E3 trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. This new trailer gives us a glimpse into the new stealth tactics that Snake can use during his open world jaunts. There’s a good bit of time just spent in the open world environments showcasing new elements such as realistic weather patterns and passage of time.
It takes a while but we get to hear Kiefer Sutherland’s voice as Snake and as a 24 fan, I was quite ecstatic! What’s awesome is Konami is readying MGS V to hit the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4! The new trailer and press release are after the break. Be forewarned, the trailer is the extended director’s cut and is very much NSFW.

Geeky Giveaway: The Purge shirt and mask
Last Updated on Thursday, 13 June 2013 02:29 Written by LoganDX Tuesday, 4 June 2013 04:01
Hey geeks, we have another giveaway for you to pounce on. We’re partnered with Universal to promote the upcoming horror flick The Purge. What is The Purge? Glad you asked:
If, on one night every year, you could commit any crime without facing consequences, what would you do?
In an America wracked with crime and overcrowded prisons, the government has sanctioned an annual 12-hour period in which any and all criminal activity–including murder–becomes legal. The police can’t be called. Hospitals suspend help. It’s twelve hours when the citizenry regulates itself without thought of punishment. On this particular night in 2022, plagued by violence and an epidemic of crime, one family wrestles with the decision of who they will become when a stranger comes knocking.
When an intruder breaks into James Sandin’s (Ethan Hawke) gated community during the yearly lockdown, he begins a sequence of events that threatens to tear his family apart. Now, it is up to James, his wife, Mary (Lena Headey), and their kids to make it through the night without turning into the monsters from whom they hide.
After the break we have a cool app from The Purge as well as our buddy, The Rafflecopter. Enter, now, enter often as the contest is now open and will end June 13th.

Two weeks of roaming in Assassin’s Creed 3.
Last Updated on Sunday, 18 November 2012 01:58 Written by LoganDX Wednesday, 14 November 2012 03:00
Living the Creed isn’t as easy as it used to be. The Templars have made a huge push, the Brotherhood is close to extinction. The Templars believe them, our fellow Assassins finished. Their unchecked grab for power is becoming dangerous for more than just the long though dead Assassins. They have their sights set on a new land - America. They see in it the potential for a new base of ordered control. What better time for a new Assassin to come forth from the shadows, to protect not only his people but all free people?
Setting the stage for Assassin’s Creed 3 was certainly no easy feat after gamers flocked to Ezio Auditore da Firenze and his blood soaked quest for vengeance. Over the course of three games, he became the mascot for the franchise and a hard act to follow. Most of us were excited to see how Ubisoft could pull off not just a new protagonist but a Native American one at that. Rushing through the forest, hunting all manner of prey, all set against the backdrop of the American Revolution. We’ve had our hands on the game for couple weeks now and while this by no means a traditional review, it gives you geeks a great look at Assassin’s Creed 3.
Hit the break…
