Tiny Jedi + violin lightsabers = killing it! VIDEO

It's Jedi violins

I’m a sucker for a good soundtrack and the Star Wars franchise has the best in the business. Nothing inspires me more yet calms me so much than listening to the score from a galaxy far, far away.

Inspiration is what sets apart these tiny Jedi. The munckins at École de l’Harmonie St Édouard school in Quebec along with fellow padawans from École La Seigneurie dialed up the cuteness to 11.

Dressed in traditional Jedi attire, the younglings performed songs from the original trilogy, the prequels and even songs from The Force Awakens. All while busting out the sick beats with lightsaber bows. The bows were built by their teacher using led units and look remarkably like the weapons of the defenders of peace in the galaxy.

During a rousing set of the infamous ‘Imperial March’, the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader made himself appear. Did that stop the lightsaber wielding Jedi musicians? Not one beat. Some even gave him and his cadre of stormtroopers the ‘look’ to show him they ain’t afraid of no Sith.

What really sets these Jedi apart is they performed their set, before a screening of The Force Awakens, just a week after a full fledged fire ripped through their school. That’s showing the true spirit of not only a padawan but we’re talking the fortitude of a master Jedi.

When I was a young warthog, we never did anything close to this cool in music class. We played the very basic of basic stuff and dress up? Dress up was making sure we had our pants on for the day. You can imagine what they would have said about making us some super sweet, functional lightsaber bows and throwing Jedi robes on us.

What about you geeks? Any of you take music class and wish you could have done something so bad ass? What about the fact those Jedi did this a week after a fire destroyed their school? Use the force on the comments down below.
