Tom Cruise visited London last weekend to film some of his stunts for the impending Mission: Impossible film.

Commuters and fans gathered around the Blackfriars Bridge, London, in hopes to catch a glimpse of the actor. Tom could be seen traversing the railway bridge whilst a low-flying helicopter filmed.

Although car and boat traffic was kept away from the area, the train service ran as normal.

The movie started filming last year but hit a set back when Tom Cruise injured himself whilst filming a stunt back in August 2017. The incident occurred when an ill-timed jump caused him to hit the edge of a roof hard. Breaking his ankle, the actor took time out to heal.

Tom Cruise, 55, is known for his dedication to performing his own stunts. The most popular ones being it iconic motorbike stunt in Mission: Impossible 2 and most recently hanging from a plane in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.

Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, Man from U.N.C.L.E) is rumored to play the unnamed villain. Sporting a very stylish mustache, Cavill has been seen filming on set.

Christopher McQuarrie is returning as writer/producer/director. His past works with Cruise include Jack Reacher and The Mummy.

Returning to the franchise we will see favorites, Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead), Rebecca Ferguson (Girl on a Train), and Ving Rhames (Con-Air). Angela Bassett (Black Panther) is also rumored to star.
