Top 5 Things You Need to Know About Thor: Ragnarok!

Thor: Ragnarok, the highly anticipated latest Marvel movie, is now in theaters. With big blockbuster movies coming down the pipe such as Star Wars and Black Panther, you might be asking yourself if you should add Thor: Ragnarok to your list. In a simple answer, you absolutely should. I’ve got 5 things you should look out for when you see it in theaters. No need to look away; everything in this article is spoiler-free!

1. Not One But Two Post-Credits Scenes

Yes, you must stay until the very end to see both of them. The first one comes on rather quickly, but be sure to stick around and not miss the second!

2. Female Performances are Simply Amazing

Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Cate Blanchett as Hela both gave stellar performances. Tessa will leave you laughing while Cate makes a very devious but very perfect Lillian. She’s so good you almost want her to win. Almost.

3. Korg Will Leave You Laughing

Seriously, the standout character to me was Korg. Taika Waititi pulled double-duty as director and actor brilliantly. Any line he said always reduced me into a huge laughing fit.

4. How About You 3-Don’t?

I saw the movie in 2D and still thought the visual effects were amazing. So, perhaps save a few bucks and pass on the 3D version.

5. If You Are #TeamLoki, You Won’t Be Disappointed

Tom Hiddleston’s performance as Loki is amazing, as per usual. Of course, Loki wouldn’t be the God of Mischief without a little… mischief. So, he does show his true colors at some point. However, we also get a deeper look into Loki and see a whole new side to him. Either way, if Loki is your favorite villain, you will be pleased with not only the duration of his screen time, but also with seeing a completely different side of him.
