A couple of big names just joined the big time with World Wrestling Entertainment.
First up is former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, the highly popular MMA fighter has been a lifelong wrestling fan and will finally be stepping back into the ring soon. It has been rumored for a good while that WWE was looking to set up a feud between the Four Horsewomen of both MMA and in WWE. The MMA Four Horsewomen include Rousey, Mae Young Classic runner-up, and current NXT roster member Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir, whereas WWE’s Four Horsewomen consists of Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Bayley. The feud and match have been one of the most anticipated by fans in quite some time.
PWStream broke the news on Twitter last night.
The Ronda Rousey deal is done. No news on who’s she’s facing at Mania; the 4-on-4 horse women match is still a possibility. Don’t expect to see her in the Rumble, though – unless WWE are craving major main stream attention. #RoyalRumble

The timing is also very convenient given the Royal Rumble is coming up soon and we’re going to be seeing the very first women’s Royal Rumble match, which might be her debut, though we won’t know until then. Would be quite a huge pop in Philadelphia if it does happen.
The other signing is of Trevor Mann, better known as Ricochet to the NXT developmental brand. Ricochet has been one of the most successful, prominent, and polarizing wrestling figures in some time. He is known for his high-flying and high-risk style of wrestling. He gained loads of exposure for his match with Will Ospreay in New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament back in 2016 that gained praise and criticism from some industry veterans.
Among Ricochet’s many accomplishments, he is a former Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Champion and a two-time winner of their Battle of Los Angeles tournament, winner of 2014 Best of the Super Juniors and while in NJPW a three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion with Matt Sydal and Ryusuke Taguchi, and countless other belts, awards, and tournament wins.
Ricochet is also best known as playing Prince Puma in Lucha Underground, where he is a two-time champion.
