Rumors surrounding the release date of the highly anticipated and upcoming game by Guerilla Games have surfaced stating that Horizon will not be ready for distribution by the end of the 2016 year. The rumors have appeared on twitter and the NeoGAF forums by the infamous Shinobi, that the game will be pushed back to 2017. Also, the rumors state that the release will be for the newest edition of the PS4, which has been nicknamed Neo or PS4K.
Well…Horizon: Zero Dawn's getting delayed to early 2017 from what I'm told.
Going to look splendid on PS4k though.

Just to clarify, Horizon's going to look absolutely incredible on every PS4! The PS4k comment wasn't meant as anything more.

There has been no actual statement from either Sony or Guerilla Games as to whether or not the rumors are true, and I surely hope they are not. However Shinobi has been credible with prior instances, and has had access to small bits of insider information for previous games.
Definitely stay tuned for more up to date information on the release of the game, as well as the releases of other games due to drop this year!
