Earlier this week we covered the possible release date for the next expansion for Witcher 3: Wild Hunt titled, Blood and Wine. Developers CD Projekt RED have confirmed through social media outlets that Blood and Wine will be available May 31, just one day after the suspected release.
They have also given us a quick teaser trailer to show off a very small fraction of what is to come.
The trailer reveals a much more colorful and vibrant landscape than we’ve previously seen in Wild Hunt. That is, of course, until you see a monster tearing the flesh off of what was once a living person. Flash to colorful scenery, then back to a grim scene of fire and blood. Looks like Geralt of Rivia can never escape the monsters he’s spent his entire life hunting.
CD Projekt Red had previously stated that Blood and Wine would bring closure to Geralt’s journey in this 20 hour expansion. As an avid fan of the game series and books, I have been on the edge of my seat waiting for the next (and final) expansion to last year’s award winning RPG.
