Yooka-Laylee E3 Trailer [VIDEO]

As we wrote in a previous post on Don’t Hate the Geek about Yooka-Laylee, this may very well be a successor for Banjo-Kazooie. Today Playstation’s YouTube channel released a trailer of gameplay!

The characters look fascinating and like they will balance each other out fairly well without being too out there. Yooka seems to be a chameleon who can breathe fire, use items to blend into his surroundings as well as roll into a ball to escape his enemies. Laylee is a bat that can fly you around as well as use sonic blasts to knock enemies back. At one point in the trailer it looks as though one level you wander through will turn you into a flower and change the way you need to move around the environment.

Yooka-Laylee 2

There is no definite release date yet, merely 1st Quarter 2017, however there is much they can still do with the game to make it far more fascinating. While it looks almost like a game for ages 10+ the trailer leads us to believe there will be many moments for adults to enjoy as well.
