Ever since Justice League came to theaters, people have been curious about Zack Snyder’s directing. So, fans decided to start a petition to have Zack’s apparent directors cut released. Some were skeptical about the existence of this director’s cut, and they may be right.

Back in May, we got news that Snyder decided to make a tough decision, due to tough circumstances. When his daughter passed away, he left Joss Whedon to finish directing the movie. The Hollywood Reporter covered this story. With news of this new director, fans wondered what Zack had in mind for Justice League. Once the movie finally came out, speculations on Zack’s directors cut grew.

Reddit User Speaks Up

A user on Reddit who says they worked on the movie, had spoken up about these speculations:

I literally explained it – the film is found in the edit process, rarely does a director start shooting with the entire film plotted out. Some things work, some things don’t. There is no Snyder cut – obviously he had a rough edit in process hen he left in February, but the reshoots were done 6 months after that, he had no final version of the film.

Yes, Zack would’ve probably done things differently to how the film turned out, but thats it. There isn’t a secret Zack version hidden somewhere. It doesn’t exist.

So far, this Reddit post is gathering a lot of feedback. Some agree with these claims, and some are still unsure of it all. Whether this user’s information should be trusted, is up to you. The correct timeline, and what Zack left behind is not clear.

Whatever the case may be, the torch was passed on to Whedon. He successfully got the movie out there and on the big screen. Although, there will still be those who wonder what Zack Snyder would have done differently with the movie. As well as some who insist on getting their directors cut.

With that being said, do you think there is a secret director’s cut? Or do you agree with the Reddit user, claiming no such thing exists? Let us know your thoughts on this whole discussion, and the movie itself, Justice League!
