A small noodle bar in Orlando is drawing in Anime fans from near and far. “Soupa Saiyan” isn’t your traditional noodle bar as you could probably guess by the name, it’s a Dragon Ball Z themed restaurant. As far as the menu goes it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a noodle shop, you have your choice of broth, noodles, and protein. It’s safe to assume the main reason folks first head to this unique eatery is because of the atmosphere.
The staff wears Dragon Ball Z t-shirts, there are action figures scattered around, and episodes of the show are even playing on TV while you eat! The restaurant also features artwork from a local artist depicting different DBZ characters. The noodle shop has only been open for a month and it’s already gotten over 4,500 likes on Facebook, has been featured on news stations, and had curious anime lovers travel as far as North Carolina to experience this eatery first hand.
The food looks absolutely mouth-watering. You can see a few pictures of some of the dishes they offer below from their Facebook page.
I’m lucky enough to live around 90 minutes from this amazing location, and it’s definitely number one on my radar, and my husband’s for our next culinary adventure. I’m a huge lover of Pho, and he’s a huge lover of DBZ, so I think for once we won’t have to spend three hours arguing over where to eat! As soon as I make my way to this epic eatery I’ll be sure to post a review for you guys!!
