Bust out them wallets geeks! DHTG has the Black Friday deals you need to see!

written by Chad "LoganDX" G. November 22, 2016

It’s that time of year my geeks, when the air is crisp, the leaves are falling, the food starts tasting so much better, the treats get extra sugary and some of us froth at the mouth for awesome gear at rock bottom prices for Black Friday. I’m so in love with this time of year!

It's Black Friday

While all of those things make me happy, the ones I dig the most are the noms and the Black Friday deals. Nothing beats homemade pies and $9.99 blu rays, does it? Ah, it’s so great. We here at DHTG can’t really help you geeks with the food but we certainly can help steer you towards what we feel are the best ads and specials. So strap on your dancing shoes and let’s boogie!

In the past, we usually handed off the duties of Black Friday to a single person but this year with DHTG having more awesome peeps, we’re going with a collaboration of sorts. Let us know how you like or don’t like it. First up we have the great Alex Lopez who jumped all over the Microsoft Store and Gamestop ads to dial in these finds:

It's a Black Friday sign

Microsoft Store

  • Surface Pro 4-$799.00
  • Microsoft Office 365 Home-$79.99 for one year
  • Alienware 15 Touch Signature Edition Gaming Laptop-$1,497.00
  • Xbox One controllers-$39.99

  • Xbox One S 500GB Gears of War 4 Bundle-$50 off
  • Playstation 4 500GB Uncharted Bundle-$50 off and choice of The Last of Us Remastered or Ratchet and Clack FREE
  • Batman: Arkham Knight, Mad Max and Star Wars Battlefront for PS4-$9.99
  • Mortal Kombat XL, Doom, and Dying Light for Xbox One-$19.99

  • Star Wars or Captain America Stainless Steel Tumblers-$9.99
  • Call of Duty Stunt Drone-$49.99
  • Funko Mystery Box-$20.00

Another one of our fine collaborators (collaborators sounds so rebellious, I dig it) has dug up a huge score of deals from a smattering of retailers to dial you geeks in. I now present to you Jordan Cobb’s deal finds:

To end our trip, I present you the Master Collaborator, me, Chad “LoganDX” G. I’m going to slide around and show you deal seeking geeks the deals that may have slipped through the cracks. I want you geeks to grab all the goods!

First up is Target:

  • Mario Edition 3DS $99
  • Various video games such as Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed Unity $8
  • More video games including Recore and Rainbow Six Seize $15
  • Doorbuster games featuring Skyim Remaster and Gears of War 4 $29.99
  • Tons of DVDs and Blu rays starting at $4

  • Xbox One S 500GB w/Battlefield 1, Gears of War 4 and extra controller $249!

Best Buy

  • Xbox One S 1TB Battlefield 1 $299
  • Free extra wireless Xbox One controller with any Xbox One purchase
  • LEGO Dimensions starter kits $39.99
  • DVDs and Blu rays starting at $1.99

There we have it geeks, a hella ton of Black Friday deals to go through. These are just the ones that caught our eyes but there are hundreds of more out there for you to dive into. I will suggest if you have the money and the need for a new console, is grabbing that Xbox One S deal from Dell. That’s a lot of gaming for $250.

It's people

What say you geeks? Any deals catch your eyes? Have any deals you want us to know about? Make sure to holler at Alex and Jordan for their deal sniffing prowess by hitting us up in the comments and happy Black Friday!
