Huge Retailer Just Leaked E3 2018 Surprise Game Announcements!

Some surprises from E3 2018 may have been spoiled because of an erroneous listing of new games on Walmart Canada’s website. The page on Walmart’s site has since been deleted, but some of the titles that were listed may be a shock to some gamers. A couple titles have already been rumored to be coming out, but some companies prefer to wait until big events like the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) to make big announcements. OOPS! Since the error listings have been taken down, a twitter user @Wario64 who was quick with the screenshots, captured the mistake.

Again, some of these games have already been rumored or quasi-announced. The Division 2 was announced at the beginning of March, courtesy of Ubisoft. Destiny Comet, hopefully a Destiny 2 expansion and not a possible copyright infringement, is already slated to be a reveal at E3. Something Assassin’s Creedrelated is not that out of the ordinary from Ubisoft at E3, and Borderlands 3 has been in talks of becoming a reality since back in 2015. Splinter Cell has already been rumored due to a similar error on Amazon in early March, and no known information has been heard about Rage 2 or Just Cause 4 until now.

While some of these titles will be released for all platforms (PS4, Xbox One, and PC), games like Super Smash Bros. and The Last of Us 2 are likely to be platform-specific. There is no indication which titles will be released on PC, as Canada doesn’t do much in PC retail sales.

None of this is official by any means, but we shall see just how true this leak was in about a month. E3 will take place June 12-14, 2018, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. There is still time to register if you’re planning on attending. Three day passes start at $249.00 for gamers/ordinary people who want to be part of the world’s biggest video game event.

I am excited for some of these titles, specifically the Final Fantasy VII Remake, LEGO DC Villains, Dragon Quest 2, and Destiny Comet (provided it’s a Destiny 2 expansion). Are there any titles from this listing you are excited about? Sound off in the comments and let us know!
