E3 has all the companies in competition for the killer announcements and WB games have the man for the job. Hitman 2 and Generation Zero have just been unveiled, check out the insane details below.
It was leaked earlier this week Hitman 2 would be at E3 and now everyone is getting an early treat. A mission was shown showcasing Agent 47 in Miami doing what he does best…creating orphans.
After Square Enix dropped Hitman, developers IO Interactive bought the property to continue on their own. WB has partnered with IO to publish the new entry.
The footage shown today featured Agent 47 taking on two targets and one of them is a racer. He was shown putting explosives in the vehicles, loosening the wheels and much more dastardly tactics.
Same Suit, New Buttons To Play With Hitman 2
New items like concussion grenades are being added to the list tools 47 can take his target out with. Six new locations from “sun-drenched streets to dark and dangerous rain-forests” will appear.
The story of Hitman 2 will continue from the last game with 47 hunting the Shadow client and dismantling his militia. The popular feature Contracts and Elusive Targets return along with 6 new locations.
For those needing that Hitman fix right away, check out your stores right now. Hitman: Sniper Assassin is available now for those that pre-order Hitman 2. The mode marks the first time Online Co-Op is in the series and what’s better than killing strangers online with a buddy.
Hitman 2 is scheduled to come out on Nov. 13th, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
A New Generation Has Arrived
Avalanche Studios are known for their work on the Just Cause series and Mad Max. Crazy open worlds is their game and they have a brand new one called Generation Zero.
Avalanche has been in headlines recently for teaming with id Software for Rage 2. This is not that, this is their first self-published game set in 1980’s Sweden.
Generation Zero is using the same Apex engine that powered Just Cause 3 and Mad Max. Players will fight against hostile machines with three other friends online.
The action will happen in an environment featuring a day and night cycle, weather and adaptive A.I. Also, there will be a stealth system for players to have more options on how they take on the world.
Enemies are also going to have a feature where they will carry the physical damage until defeated. Meaning, it could be weeks later and if you only crippled a robot, they still come at you with whatever they got. Think Terminator 2.
