Fans, both old and new are literally counting down the minutes until “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” finally debuts in theaters. December 16th is still a couple of weeks away, but we don’t have to wait that long to get a glimpse of our new protagonist, Jyn Erso, in action. Jyn is played by Felicity Jones, who was on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Wednesday to show off her moves and to show her hours upon hours of training paid off.
“It was many hours of devotion and practice, and doing it over and over again, and I’m wanting to kind of, you know, make Jyn a badass.” Jones went on to say.
The Rogue One footage starts at about 2:09. If you weren’t excited for Rogue One from the amazing advertising job Disney has done with it, you should be now.
The film is set in between episodes III and IV, and official synopsis for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” has been released as follows:
In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
I think Jones looks absolutely phenomenal in this film, and she’s got an amazing cast behind her. What do you guys think of what we’ve seen from “Rogue One” so far? Are you going to be one of the millions that will go see it on opening night? Which character are you most excited to see in action?
