As of late, I’ve been hearing game titles such as Fortnite, Fallout, and God of War. I know nothing of these games, or most games in general, other than they seem to be popular. I want to be included in the loop, so I’m going to do some research. But first, let’s have some fun! Witness as a non-gamer describes popular games by their titles, and cover pictures.
Fortnite is a popular game title that I’ve been seeing lots of. However, I have no idea what it’s about. First off, it has the word “fort” in it. That, to me, screams making forts; the pillow kind. Not just any fort making, but night time forts! They just decided to shorten the word to “nite” to sound more cool. The characters on the cover sure do look cool. They seem like the type of people who would make forts in their spare time, at night. I do see weapons in the picture, so maybe there’s a war? Or even a zombie apocalypse. You gotta protect your fort at all costs, it’s tough out there.
2. Fallout 4
While doing a quick google search to find some pictures of Fallout, I noticed there are multiple games. So, I just went with the fourth one. Time to expertly decipher this title. Right away, the creepy mask on the cover catches my eye. The person wearing the mask may have had a “fallout” with their significant other, or friend. In times of trouble, I often seek the comfort of a creepy mask. Or maybe they’re just a Doctor Who fan and want to say “Are you my mummy?” The “4” in the title must mean this isn’t the first fallout they’ve had. Does the character fight the people involved in these fallouts? I bet the fifth game will finally have a conclusion. Enough is enough mask wearer!
3. God of War
Now this popular game has some action! The title alone proves my statement. There’s a lot going on in this picture. It looks as if this large, tusked, individual is not well liked. Hawkeye’s friend in the corner is breaking out the arrows. I’m assuming the tusked fellow is the God of War. Not many people like war, so it’s safe to say the point of the game would be to stop him. He seems to be causing quite a bit of destruction in his path. Let’s hope this badass, axe-wielding man can save the day.
So, did I do these games justice? Maybe I should quit my day job and work in popular games-deciphering, full-time. All jokes aside, do you enjoy any of these popular games? If so, which one should I consider playing? Let us know in the comments!
